Free Tools That Respect Your Files
Toolzey is a collection of free online tools that run in your browser. It exists because too many basic tools ask for a sign-up, add a watermark, or upload your files to a server just to do a one-minute job.
Simple Tools, No Strings Attached
Resizing an image, merging two PDFs or counting the words in a draft shouldn't need an account. Every one of the 128 tools here is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermarks and no daily limits.
Where a tool works on a file, it does the work on your own device, in your browser, so the file isn't uploaded anywhere. A few tools need live data from the internet, and those are listed openly below.

How Toolzey Works
Your Files Stay on Your Device
The image, PDF, text and conversion tools run as JavaScript in your browser. When you compress an image or merge a PDF, the file is read and processed locally. Toolzey has no server-side processing, so there is nothing for a file to be uploaded to.
The Few Tools That Go Online
Some tools need live data, so they contact a third-party service: the currency converter (exchange rates), IP lookup, the internet speed test, and the website downtime checker, which sends the address you enter through a public proxy. Several tools also load open-source libraries, such as pdf-lib and PDF.js, from a public CDN. None of these upload your files.
No Hidden Costs
No freemium traps, no "3 free uses per day," no credit system and no watermarks. Every tool is fully functional. If ads are added to the site later to help cover hosting, they will not lock any tool behind them. See the privacy policy for how analytics and advertising cookies are handled.
Built With Accessibility in Mind
Pages use semantic HTML, keyboard-friendly controls, light and dark themes and a responsive layout that works on phones. The site has not been through a formal accessibility audit, so if something gets in your way, please tell me and I'll fix it.
Still Growing
New tools, guides and downloadable templates are added over time, and existing tools get fixed and improved as problems are reported. Missing a tool, or found a bug? The contact page is the fastest way to reach me.
Independent and Self-Funded
Toolzey is built and maintained by an independent developer. There are no outside investors and no plan to sell your data. The site is small, and it is kept simple on purpose.
